In this work, a method using transmission interferometry is proposed to detect micro defects (streaks, inclusions, air bubbles, grooves, cracks, etc.) present in transparent materials surface. This technique non-destructive and non-contact for the analysis of optical components whose surfaces vary from few mm2 larger sizes. The purpose provide means as simple possible identify with low contrast, particular barely visible defects, differentiate between defects. system generates interference fringes by superposition two microscopic periodic structures. According principle method, image structure, transmitted laser beam, traverses sample. It then superposed on reference structure; generate fringes, which materialize presence material. Changes shape inform dimensions makes it clearly submicroscopic thanks high resolution system. device used allows defect magnification up 1000 times. control measurement real-time inspection. provides detection resolution, allowing better observation facilitates automation measurements controls. Therefore, can be suitable surface objects such films, lenses, prisms.
